The Nigerian Airforce, 015 Strategic Intelligence Group, Lagos has sought greater collaboration with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in tackling the menace of economic and financial crimes through intelligence sharing.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC on Monday, September 18, 2023, the Commander, Air Commodore U.S. Umar, said the purpose of the visit was to foster collaboration as well the need for effective synergy between the EFCC and the NAF.

Justice O. A. Egwuatu of the Federal High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja on Thursday, September 14, 2023 convicted ten people on one count separate charges bordering on internet fraud.
The defendants who were prosecuted by the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, are Ikyegh Senenge Bobo, Anum Cyprian Sesugh, Boniface Udoo Aondofa, Utor Stanley Torkuma, Obande Emmanuel, James Ekere, Tony Ochekwu Moda, Ochaje James, Shadrach Ugbu Aondona and Odumu Michael.

Justice O.A. Egwuatu of the Federal High Court, Maitama, Abuja on Friday, September 15, 2023, convicted and sentenced one Ukoh Michael Odeh to one year imprisonment on one count charge of fraud brought against him by the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The convict got into trouble when the Command received an intelligence report regarding the suspicious activities of some individuals suspected to be internet fraudsters in Makurdi. He was subsequently arrested in a sting operation.

The Acting Executive Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Abdulkarim Chukkol has charged operatives of the Commission to bring skills acquired from sponsored training to bear on their duties and assigned tasks in various commands.

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulkarim Chukkol has charged the media to be more steadfast and vigilant in the fight against corruption, economic and financial crimes.
Chukkol gave this charge on Thursday, September 14, 2023, through ACE I Bawa Hamidu Saidu, the Commander, Uyo Zonal Command of the EFCC during a one-day Media Workshop for journalists on “Effective Reporting of Economic and Financial Crimes” which was held at Rosmohr Hotels, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
