EFCC Tasks Students On Integrity In Sokoto

The Sokoto Zonal Commander of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Assistant Commander of the EFCC, ACE 1 Aliyu Yunusa has tasked students across the country to inculcate the values of integrity in their dealings as a way of tackling the twin menace of economic and financial crimes in Nigeria.

He made the call on Thursday May 25, 2023 while on an enlightenment campaign alongside EFCC/ NYSC Community Service Club at the Usmaniyya and Gamji Schools of Health Technology, both in Sokoto.

Represented by the Head, Public Affairs of the zone, ACE Kamilu Ibrahim, Yunusa assured the students that they represent the future of Nigeria and must therefore learn to embody values that will propel the nation to greatness.

"The fact is you are the future of this country, so be reminded that values of honesty, integrity, moral uprightness are key to your success or otherwise as leaders of tomorrow".

He also urged them to shun the "get -rich -quick" syndrome, internet scam, cybercrime and other such acts that have led so many promising young Nigerians into crime and criminality.

"Always remember that when you see something, say something and the EFCC will do something about it" he said.
