EFCC, DSS, Nigeria Police to Intensify Collaboration

Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the Department of State Service, DSS and the Nigeria Police today pledged to intensify their collaboration in the fight against corruption. This commitment was restated as Heads of EFCC Zonal Offices in Kaduna and Ilorin, visited the Director, DSS and the Police Commissioner respectively.
In Kaduna Zonal Office, Harry Erin told the State Director, Ahmed Idris Koya that he was visiting to familiarize himself with heads of security agencies in the State.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Tuesday April 20, 2021 asked for more cooperation from Compliance Officers of banks in the investigation of economic crimes, stressing that the fight against corruption cannot be won without the support of major stakeholders across all sectors.
The Uyo Zonal Head of the Commission, CDS Nwanneka Nwokike, gave the charge in Uyo when he played host to Compliance Officers of banks in his office.
EFCC Unveils New Corruption Prevention Model

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Abdulrasheed Bawa today April 20, 2021, says the Commission has designed a new corruption prevention model to complements its enforcement activities.
Bawa who spoke through his chief of staff, Hadiza Zubairu Gamawa at the ongoing capacity building workshop for members of boards of parastatal, commission and government agencies, organized by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, said it has been established that, it was far cheaper to prevent than fight corruption. He reiterated his statement before the Senate at his confirmation that he was going to fight corruption, not corrupt persons.
According to him, the prevention model will incorporate fraud risk assessment and proactive measures to address corruption vulnerabilities in public corporations, particularly revenue generating agencies.

The South East Zonal Head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Oshodi Johnson has charged Nigerian youths to imbibe positive values vital to making Nigeria great again.
Oshodi gave the charge on April 17,2021 through the Head, Media, Chris Oluka at a Youth Empowerment Summit organized by Mr. Ifoh Chinedu, CEO of ICO Multi-Purpose company Nigeria, in conjunction with St. Theresa Catholic Church Ugbo - Odogwu, Enugu North Local Government Area, Enugu State.
EFCC Arrests 14 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Lagos

Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 14 suspected internet fraudsters.
The suspects are: Abiodun Gbolahan Seidu, Joseph Aganaga Ndubuisi, Sodimu Olawale Sikirudeen, Ohaekim Christopher, Ambali Oluwaseyi Rahman, Chibuzor Ebubedike, Salvador Abduljabar and Omohogbo Donald Ede.
