The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has set aside the conviction of Gladstone Amabebe who was prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for illegal dealing in petroleum products. Amabebe who was prosecuted and convicted along with seven others before Justice I.M Sani of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on 12th November 2019 had his conviction set aside on 17th February 2023.
