Sokoto Zonal Commander of the EFCC, ACE II Aliyu Yunusa, has tasked youths across the country to imbibe right moral standards, stressing that such standards are the panacea to economic and financial crimes.

He stated this in Sokoto on Thursday, March 30, 2023 while delivering a paper at a One- day Symposium organised by the Nuun Advocacy & Community Initiative held at the Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto for students of the College.

Addressing the theme :"Nexus between Schooling, Curbing Corruption and the Future", Yunusa advised students against negative vices that could threaten their academic endeavour.

He admonished them to steer clear of "yahoo yahoo" activities and take advantage of the opportunities offered by the cyberspace positively.

He also urged the students to take advantage of the EFCC's Integrity Clubs initiative seriously, by being good ambassadors and change agents in their immediate environments.

The symposium was graced by Dr. Muhammad Gulam, Director, State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Sokoto and Dr. Haruna Galadima, Dean of the College, amongst others.
