The Commander of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, ACE Oshodi Johnson has pledged to support the Nigeria Police campaign against cultism and other vices. He made the pledge on Friday, October 21, 2022 while receiving a delegation from the Police Campaign Against Cultism and other Vices (POCACOV) at his office in Enugu.
The leader of the visiting delegation and national co-ordinator for POCACOV, CSP Ebere Amarizu said the initiative was aimed at saving Nigerian Youths from the dangers of cultism and other vice, to ensure safe and secure communities.
He said the essence of the visit was to solicit forthe support of the EFCC as a critical stakeholder.
“We are here to seek ways we can work together to save the future of the youths of this country; we have a Resource Centre here in Enugu that caters for the thirty-six states of the Federation including the FCT. Since you control the affairs of the EFCC in the South-East, we decided to seek your support to solve this problem”, he said.
ACE Johnson, thanked the POCACOV national co-ordinator and his team for coming and promised to join hands to help secure the future of the youths in Nigeria.
