The Gombe Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday May 25, 2022 played host to officials of the National Human Rights Commission who were at the Command as part of a nationwide statutory audit of Correctional/Custodial Centres and other detention facilities.

The team led by Mrs. Jitau Atiwurcha was received by the Deputy Zonal Commander, ACE 11 Effa Imoh Okim and other staff of the Command.

The team was conducted round the Command’s detention facilities and other offices. There was also an interaction session between the delegation from the NHRC and the detainees. Officials of the Commission were equally on hand to answer questions from the visitors.
