The Nigeria Patrotic Youth Against Corruption and Transparency Initiative (NPYACTI), on Friday, December 18, 2020 honoured the Sokoto zonal head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), DCDS Bawa Usman Kaltungu, with an award in recognition of his contributions to the fight against corruption.

The NPYACTI president Sokoto chapter, Abdullahi Alhaji, who presented the award during a visit to the Commission's zonal office, Sokoto commended the Commission's efforts in the fight against corruption and crime prevention.

Responding, Kaltungo called on the organisation to join hands with the EFCC in the fight against corruption in the zone and the country as a whole.

"The fight against corruption cannot be left to the EFCC alone because the choices and decisions you make today will determine the type of society you and your children will live in," he said.
