Enugu Zonal Head Tasks Staff on Attitudinal Change

The Enugu zonal head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Oshodi Johnson,  has charged staff in the zone  to embrace  a new dawn in the repositioning of the  Commission  towards a better service to Nigerians.

He gave the charge on Monday, August 31, 2020, while opening a one-day service delivery lecture, organised by the Service Compact (SERVICOM) unit of the Commission at the zonal office.

“The EFCC of today, was established on the foundation of solid service delivery and this is being reawakened in us today so as to improve our prompt and professional service delivery.  Every staff must key into this to take the Commission to the expected height of its founders which is to become one of the foremost anti-graft agencies in the world”, he said.

He stressed that the Commission must come first in the consideration of any staff, adding that “you must know that EFCC is bigger that anyone of us and that whatever we do as individuals will rub off on the image of the Commission, so be careful and be professional in your conduct.’’

Head, Service Improvement Section of  SERVICOM, Abuja,  Efa Okim, who took a  tour of the history of SERVICOM, stated that the essence of the unit in the Commission was for quality service delivery to the public and urged  staff to live up to the expectation of the Commission and that of the public.

‘‘As you may well know, your being in the EFCC is a privilege that must be appreciated. You must not only respect yourself but your external comportment as well. You must be able to perform your duties professionally and communicate well with your suspect, their lawyers or relations”, he said.

Okim further told the staff to reappraise their performances with a view to changing what is unworthy of them, adding that the desired change must begin with every individual staff.
