Justice Olasumbo Olarenwaju Goodluck of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Jabi, Abuja on April 30, 2013 charged the duo of Onuabuike Chukwuebuka and Izuchukwu Emewulu to sort out issues regarding their representation in court as she would no longer entertain further request for adjournment in the internet fraud case instituted against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes commission, EFCC.

Hearing of the case was stalled April 30, 2013 due to an application for adjournment by the defence counsel T.I Ezeh, to enable him study the case file which he claimed to have inherited the previous day.

The prosecution counsel, Mrs. D Adamu Eteh however objected to the application for adjournment on the grounds that it was the third time a new counsel would be appearing for the defendants. She revealed that a counsel had called her the previous day to confirm if she will be in court today (April 30) only to see another counsel in court.

The judge in granting the request for adjournment stressed that it was going to be the last she would grant on the issue of representation.

The case has been adjourned to June 11 and 12, 2013.

Onuabuike Chukuebuka and Izuchukwu Emewulu, who were first arraigned on March 5, 2013 on a 5-count charge bordering on intent to defraud and obtain money by false pretence, allegedly hacked into the e-mail account of constitutional lawyer, Bamidele Aturu.
