The project which was declared open in Abuja on October 4, 2016 by the EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu is partnering with primary and secondary schools within Nigeria to identify talented children and youth with the vision for a corruption-free Nigeria.

Ag. Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, who was represented by the Director of Public Affairs, Mr Osita Nwajah said that the aim of the initiative is to inculcate in the children values that will make them grow into responsible citizens.

According to Magu "we live in very trying times and historically, periods of national economic challenges seem to be fertile grounds and manure for crimes and criminality. Thus, in times such as these, many young people who are very receptive to ideas get caught up in intricate webs of criminality. We owe an obligation to rescue them".

The program today had presentations from the Twenty Five finalists from various schools across Lagos State.

There were poetic presentations on the ills of corruption and the way forward as well as paintings depicting Nigeria of the past, present and the future. The Children also had an interactive session with stakeholders on "My New Nigeria built on Integrity"

Awards and certificates were given to all successful twenty contestants by the German consulate and corporate organizations that lent support to the project.
