The Commander 3 Brigade  Nigeria Army, Bukavu Barracks, Kano, Brigadier- General S.O Olabanji has commended the pivotal role of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in the fight against corrupt practices and terrorism in country.

He made the declaration Friday November 18 during a courtesy visit to the EFCC Northwest Zonal office  in Kano  where he was received by the zonal head, Nnaghe Obono Itam. General Olabanji said his visit was part of efforts to foster harmonious relationship with the Commission. He said the Army was ready to support the EFCC in fighting corruption as the scourge has not spared any sector of the Nigerian society.

Itam on his part, thanked the brigade commander for the visit and stressed the need for greater synergy among security agencies in pursuit of national objectives.
