Magu Advocates Collective Action Against Corruption

Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, today November 8, 2016 called on all and sundry to collectively embark on aggressive public awareness against corruption so that Nigeria can regain its lost glory and establish a culture of ethical conduct in our society.

He made the call at a one-day national discourse organized by the Center for Global Peace Initiative, held at Yusuf Grillo Memorial Hall, Yaba College of Technology Yaba Lagos, where he spoke on the topic, CORRUPTION AND THE DWINDLING ECONOMIC SPACE.

Magu who was represented by Ben Ikani,  applauded the Buhari Administration for restoring sanity to Nigeria adding that under this administration there has been tremendous progress in improving governance and the business environment.

He stressed the need to get our priorities right to arrest the nation's dwindling economic fortune. "Let us build a collective action approach in building a consensus among the generality of the people to believe, trust and support anti-corruption measures” Magu reiterated.
