The Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has arraigned Theophilus Oluwasegun Jacob and his company; Jito Marine Support Limited before Justice S .H. Aprioku of the State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State for alleged issuance of dud cheque.
He was arraigned on Thursday, October 26, 2023, on eight - count charges bordering on issuance of dud cheque, contrary to Section 1(1) (a) of the Dishonoured Cheques (Offences) Act, Cap. DII, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and punishable under Section 1(1) (a) (i) of the same Act.

Justice P. I. Ajoku of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has convicted and sentenced an internet fraudster; Kelvin Ifeanyi to a one-year jail term in the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre.
He was jailed on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 upon being arraigned by the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a one-count charge bordering on obtaining money under false pretence contrary to Section 1(1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1(3) of the same Act.
EFCC Arraigns Man for Land Fraud in Kaduna

The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on October 23, 2023, arraigned Abdullahi Haladu and Kabiru Liman (at large), before Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court, for allegedly defrauding Malam Sani Isyak the sum of , N1, 550,000 (One Million, Five Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only), in a land matter.
The two defendants were arraigned on three- count amended charges bordering on conspiracy and obtaining by false pretence.
