EFCC Parleys School, CSOs in Fight Against Corruption in Enugu

In its bid to strengthen and deepen its public awareness against economic and financial crimes, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has inaugurated an Integrity Club at Day Secondary School, Independence Layout , Enugu ,Enugu state, even as it engaged Civil Society Organisations, CSOs in the state for more robust synergy.
While the inauguration of the Club took place on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in the school premises, the interactive meeting with the CSOs took place at the Commissions's Zonal office in Enugu. Speaking at the launch of the Club, Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Abdulkarim Chukkol, charged secondary school students across the country to shun all forms of corruption by imbibing the core values of integrity, discipline, honesty and transparency.

The Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 arraigned an Ilorin-based associate pastor of the Living Faith Church (aka Winners’ Chapel), Temidayo Eseyin, for allegedly defrauding Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Kwara State of N19.3million.
Eseyin, a lawyer and former member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ilorin Branch was docked on a four-count charge bordering on dishonestly misappropriation of funds belonging to the University before Justice Funsho Lawal of the Kwara State High Court, Ilorin.
EFCC Inaugurates Another Integrity Club in Port Harcourt

The Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, inaugurated another EFCC Integrity Club at Diamond Sangard School located at 22 Egbohom Street, off Old Refinery Road, Elelenwo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Speaking at the Inauguration, the Acting Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Abdulkarim Chukkol, warned students to stay away from corruption and be ambassadors of the Commission. The Chairman who spoke through Superintendent of EFCC, Akpos Deborah Mezeh-Ekisowei, Head, Public Affairs Department, Port Harcourt Command further charged the students to uphold the core values of the Club, which are integrity, discipline and honesty.
33 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested in Enugu

Operatives of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, arrested 33 suspected internet fraudsters in a sting operation in Enugu.
The suspects are Micheal Ogobodo, Michael Elijah, Sopuluchukwu Michael, Michael Joshua, Ogu Jerry, Ebuka Okafor, Ehinyameh Eromosele, Emeka Okongwu, Jane Ogwunga, Okpara Chidera, Emmanuel Abah, David Okwo, Chidozie Okpara, and Ngene Samuel
Others include Onuh Kelvin Uchechukwu, Ebuka Kalu Bewell, Oba Stanley Ikechukwu, Kalu Chukwudalu, Ifeanyi Jeff Ukwuoma, Paschal Ugwuanyi, Chukwuma Peter, Ukwuoma Nmasi Joseph, Obiozor Franklin, Chimaobi Kelvin Azubuike, Okafor Damian, Kulugh Simio, Okafor Ifeanyi Gabriel, Ugochukwu Nnabife, Godwin Ifeanyi, Henry Chima, Arinze Ogu, Emmanuel Peter and Godwin Miracle.
EFCC Warns Skit, Movie Producers Over Unauthorized Use of EFCC Jackets, Symbols

The attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has been drawn to the activities of content creators, movies and skit producers who use EFCC-branded Jackets, symbols, insignia and other accoutrements without authorization.
The Commission wishes to notify the public that the use of the EFCC brand in movies without authorization is illegal.
