The Sokoto Zonal Commander of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, ACE 11 Aliyu Yunusa, today February 28, 2022, assured the Nigeria Immigration Service of continued collaboration in the discharge of their respective mandates.

He stated this while receiving the new Controller of Immigration Sokoto Command, Comptroller Yahaya Yakubu at the EFCC office.

He confirmed that the Commission has always enjoyed a cordial working relationship with the Service; and it's doors will remain open for any assistance.

Responding, Comptroller Yakubu stressed the need for enhanced synergy especially in the areas of intelligence gathering and sharing.

According to Yakubu, no institution is an island. Therefore, we must interface with others in the the best interests of the country.
