The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Enugu Zonal Office, on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, arraigned an apprentice, Ikechukwu Obiekwe, Emma Ogonna Obiekwe and Ugo Chuwudi before Justice V.T. Nwoye of the Anambra State High Court, Onitsha, on an eight-count charge bordering on conspiracy, stealing and conversion to the tune of N40 million.
Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos has fixed January 14, 2020 for ruling on the bail application filed by an alleged fraudster, Jean Codo, in a case of stealing to the tune of €29million.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, December 19, 2019 commenced processes involved in the auctioning of 244 vehicles forfeited to the Federal Government by illegal oil dealers. The exercise was flagged-off by the Commission Secretary, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, together with a team of senior officers of the EFCC.
